this week is the "special week", co is back.. he phone called me this morning asking to meet together.. i replied "i don't refuse people who want talking to me, but my condition is that you must be alone, and we meet in public space.".

he agreed and we will meet tomorrow in a cafe.. .

this week he already met with my wife in the kh, and he told her "i believe your housband is apostate !!

miss k and her friend miss w arrived promptly today.

our scheduled topic of discussion: jesus' claim to be "the way, the truth and the life..." john 14:6 since she was basing this topic choice on the fact that i had quoted that verse, i'm not sure why... she spent what seemed like a very long time, hopping through scriptures that all said that jesus was the truth, the way, or the life.

ok, so we agreed... i kept waiting for her to get to a point, or sway from this principle.. of course, she summed up with scriptures that show how jesus submits to the father, and what does that mean we should do?

She's not getting her JW facts right. She doesn't submit to Jesus, she submits to the GB, the travelling overseers, and the local elders. The scripture says that the head of the man is Christ. JWs don't believe that. They don't have a direct relationship with Jesus, they have a WT directed intermediary.

That's exactly how Christian-based cults work.

More and more this makes me think of the Twilight Zone episode "Nick of Time."

Rather than it just being a "Mystic Seer" machine, it's Watchtower Corporation. Rather than just taking a few coins, WT will take all your money. And rather than letting you just walk out of the Busy Bee Cafe, WT will persecute anyone who dares to walk out of a Kingdumb Hell. WT can't tell the future any more than a cheap penny fortune machine. But woe to those who believe WT, they'll wind up like the poor miserable couple at the very end of the episode. They were ready to obey, even thought it wasn't reasonable.

leaving the university with my degree!.

exams are finished and it's just a matter of days before i walk.. i was certainly stressed about doing this.

i'm older than my classmates and armageddon was sooooo close!

Ugh! I should have stayed home last night.

It's not that I didn't have fun or did anything "bad". But when I got up this morning (well, it was morning somewhere), I looked in the mirror and discovered 5 hickeys, love bites, or whatever you want to call them. Two are well below collar level. Two will be pretty well hidden by my collar tomorrow. One is just slightly looking over my collar, ready to shout to the world, "Guess who got lucky!"

Of course, my JW parents will be at the graduation tomorrow. If it was just going to be my faded siblings, I'd wear my badges with pride. Instead, I'm gonna try ice, brushing, massage, and concealer. Either I'll have sufficiently faded hickeys, or my entire neck will be one large bruise.
